and with 2 teenagers I don’t think that’s an option (bummer). Oh, I did pick up the self striping yarn at the LYS for the November challenge. (ok, so I’m a month behind) I also got the 0000 dpns to try the impossible socks. Even at 30% off most of the yarn prices were still too high for me. I can’t afford to buy $20 of yarn just to try to felt a small purse. I can’t find wool yarn anywhere else around here either. Maybe I will try online for that. What is the best and inexpensive brand to try felting with?

I just checked it out and that is an absolutely amazing price. Maybe that’s why the shop is going out of business. A skein of, I think, 186 yards was $10. Knitpicks was 1.79 for 110 yards. I may like shopping online afterall. :cheering: Can I use this to make the booga bag in the free pattern list? Also, do you know about how much their shipping is? I couldn’t find a link that would tell me. If it isn’t much I may order it this afternoon (before I’m broke again ) You know how it is. If you have money bills that need paying start coming out of the woodwork.
you can put all your stuff in the cart to see what the shipping is. i can’t recall if there is a chart but i believe there is.

OK I’ve done it. I placed an order at Knitpicks. I ordered the chocolate and the blue bonnet wool to make a booga bag (does anyone know if that name has a story?) The shipping wasn’t too bad I got 3 skeins and the order was about $8. Less than 1/2 what I would have paid at the LYS. Now I just have to finish my hat, 3 pairs of socks, and mother’s shawl so that I can start playing when my order gets here And NO I am not tired!!! So what if I just tried to place my order using my driver’s license instead of my debit card :angelgrin: Ok, Ok, I am exhausted. I am going to bed. Good night, All.
