Nietzsche Doll

I’m giving this one away, but I wrote down everything I did so I can make one for myself later. I know he’s not perfect…his hair is INSANE and his arms stick out. But I think he’s good enough to give away. My roommate says he’s adorable, and she even hates Nietzche. :roflhard:
I started it Saturday around 7 in the evening and finished about ten minutes after midnight Monday morning. The hair took me four sittings and about three hours!

For the hair, I threaded a strand of brown on a yarn needle, stuck it through a stitch in the head so it would hang out both sides, and tied it once in the middle. Repeat 46354537453 times and then give him a haircut! :smiley:

Jan - I gave it to my philosophy professor from last quarter. She was thrilled with it. She says she’s going to find him a throne. She said she went around trying to show it to everyone, but no one was around. I suppose that happens on the first day of classes.

FeministMama - I have the pattern written in a notebook. It needs to be cleaned up a bit before I post it anywhere - my shorthand is quirky. :roflhard: I didn’t think it was quite Knitty (or any other publication, for that matter!) standard, but I am planning to stick it in on the Patterns forum here, and on my website if I ever get it up.
