Trying to figure section two the pattern. This is how it reads in shape front next section:
Dec 1 st at raglan armhole edge of 2nd and 3 fill 4th rows, then on fill 1 alt rows and at same time Dec 1 st at neck edge of next 12 rows, then on fill 2 alt rows. 4 sts.

Sometimes these directions make your head spin. I find that listing the rows then checking them off as I knit helps.
Decrease one stitch at the armhole edge on rows 2,6,10 and 14 the on rows 16.
Decrease one stitch at the neck edge on rows 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 and then rows 14 and 16.
I have one more question about this pattern. I will apologize in advance but the way the Rowan patterns are written are a bit difficult for me to comprehend as I am not a advance knitter and had to learn on my own how to read a pattern.
I am at the shape raglan section of the sweater.
The pattern indicates @workinh all raglan decreases in the same way as raglan armhole decreases, Dec 2 sts at each end of next and 2 fill 10th rows, then 9 following 8th rows. At the end you will have a total of 19 stitches. Again I appreciate all the help you have given me so far and appreciate your expertise.
Reading these patterns gets easier the more you work. You become familiar with where the designer is going and what the end will look like. But each designer has his or her own way of wording the directions so it takes some ploughing through especially at first. No aplogies necessary.
