I’m knitting baby socks at a gauge of 7 stitches per inch. I’m beginning the heel of one where I cast on 26 and now see that that was a mistake. Should of done 24 or 28. Since I have no baby to measure (he turns 18 this week!), what is considered the average circumference of a baby’s foot?

Here’s a very helpful chart. These are only averages and babies grow very fast so a little bigger isn’t a bad thing.
