My dil’s sister is pregnant and my dil is having her shower the weekend we are going to be up there visiting. I am making the baby, who is due in May, a cute pullover in a striped pattern with a matching hat in a 9 month size for fall and winter, but I have always wanted to attempt the “fruit and veggie” hats so made this up this weekend in a newborn size. I didn’t have a doll to put it on so had to use an old bowl and it looks huge, but really it is teeny tiny. Sure made this old ladie’s hands hurt but I just think the patterns for these are so adorable I had to give it a try.
