Newbie Sampler Afghan

I am crazy. I admit that. Now with the pleasantries out of the way…I am a new knitter and I bought Melissa Leapman’s “Cables Untangled.” Of course, I saw the sampler afghan on the front and said "I can do that!"
So here’s the question:
The pattern for ‘Panel B’ (page 62) has a couple of places where the key indicates no stitch. Do I just slip that stitch onto the other needle?:wink:

No, it’s just a square in the chart to keep the chart square. Just do the next st in the chart.

Thank you I will give that a try. There are places though that that indicator is there 2-3 times.

In other rows there may be a st due to an increase; the `no stitch’ box takes care of rows that have decreases.
