So I’m knitting a dishcloth, and its a combination of knit rows and purl rows. It’s a free pattern so I’m gonna copy it here:
CO 45 stitches
Work 5 rows in garter stitch (knit every row) noting that first row is WS
*Work 4 rows in stocking stitch (knit on RS and purl on WS). Work 5 rows in garter stitch.
Repeat from * 8 times more.
Knit one row
Cast off knitwise.
So my question is, at the *, my 5th row is knit stitch, and is WS. So I knit the next row, then purl row 7, knit row 8, purl row 9, knit 5 rows, which is row 14, (RS), so the 2nd rep I purl, then knit, purl, then knit, then knit 5 rows. Right?
I hope that wasn’t confusing.
Thanks in advance,
Janis
