My friend and I just started knitting yesterday and as we were practicing I noticed that although I casted on 20 stitches, I ended up with 28! I was doing two rows of knit, two rows of purl and alternating. Can anyone tell me how this happened and how I can avoid it from now on?
Other than that, I’m really enjoying it and the site. I have a ‘how-to’ book but the videos have helped tremendously
