Hi everyone,
I knitted my first baby blanket and edged it with a single row of crochet edging. I crocheted around the entire blanket and finished with the last stitch going under the first stitch, as instructed by a couple of videos. Now I have a single loop on the hook and I don’t know how to finish this off. Do I cut the yard and run it through the loop like knitting? The videos don’t show the last step.
This is the first time I’ve tried any crochet but my next blanket is definitely going to be crocheted! It’s great!
Cut the yarn (6" or so) and then pull it through the loop and weave it in.
Yay - easy! Thanks!
Wait! Can I add on to Jan’s message?
Cut the yarn (6" or so) and then pull it through the loop and weave it in . . . Then take a picture of it and post it on the Watcha knittin’ section of this forum.
It’s not knitting, but we would love to see your blanket.
Good job on finishing it, and I hope you crochet many many more!
