I know, I know, this probably sounds stupid to you guys but I just finished my very first scarf and moved on to a hat with ear flaps. The pattern calls for me to break the yarn of the first ear flap but not the second, then begin knitting the hat onto the second ear flap. It says to cast on the new stitches, knit into the 2nd ear flap, then TURN in big bold caps. So I’m guessing that’s important? LOL. But does that mean to change hands or something? I’m ridiculously confused. Thanks in advance!
Turn your whole needle and knitting around so it is facing the other way, getting ready to start back on a new row.
Like when you knit the scarf and turned to do another row.
Many thanks, Jints. I thought that had to be it, but I didn’t want to mess it up. I had a hard enough time figuring out increases last night, all bleary-eyed, I figured with this one I’d come here and ask!!!
It is usually the simple things that appear the hardest!!
Always ask if you are not too sure…And remember that we learn by our mistakes xxx
