I am making an afghan, the pattern says *p6, FC, rep from * across. Do I pearl, make a cable cross, then pearl 6 make a cable cross and so on? Thank you for any help and this site has been a God send to me. I know the basics, but have not knitted in many years. Forgot how much fun it can be, but also so frustrating.

Yes, you get it. Purl 6, do the cable and then repeat the P6 and the cable and keep doing that all the way across.
