New to Knitting

Greetings to All

I am relatively new to knitting - know the basic knit and purl stitches. I am writing this note to inquire if there is anyone in this group that lives in the Hermitage/Nashville, TN area that would be willing to assist me with a few lessons for which I would gladly reimburse you.

I never took the time before because my mother made all my knit items, unfortunately she has passed away and now I would like to knit for my grandchildren.

sorry darlene…all the way up in Cincinnati here. You may want to post this to the regular board as “Tenessee knitters” or something like that. The group that looks at these posts the most is probably much smaller than the group that browses the general forum.

Also, Amy’s videos are very helpful!
