Hello,
I am kind of new to knitting and I am trying to learn to make something that is not flat. The pattern that I am working on starts out with 2 inches of garter stitch and then it says to work until piece measures 2" from beg, end with a WS row. How do you tell which is the wrong side and which is the right side? I started with a long tail cast on so I have the yarn hanging from where that is. Thank you so much for having such a wonderful website with videos to watch to help someone learn how to do the different stitches too.

With garter and other reversible sts, you decide which one looks ‘better’ and mark it as the RS.
Wow, that certainly makes sense because they look the same on both sides… that is great! Thank you so much!!!
