NEW to Cable and need HELP

The pattern is worked in the round - no problem.

Round 2 - *LC (Sl 1 st onto cn (got that) and hold in front (got that), k1, k1 from cn.) p1, k4, p1; rep from * around.

Do I knit from that one stitch on the cable needle? Since this is a hat pattern I do believe that I have to remove cable needle to start again. 80 stitches total.

I am so confused. I have never worked with a cable needle and am anxious to try.

Any help other than a video would be great. THANK YOU

Angela

Yes, after you hold it in front and knit one stitch, then you knit the stitch from the cable needle.

DUH - Thank you. Now that you put it that way and I re-read, it makes sense. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Back to knitting.
