These are the 2nd and 3rd pairs I’ve completed. Working full time, it takes me about a week per sock, so 2 wks for a pair. I used Kroy 4ply on sz 2 bamboo dpsn. The cream colored pair has the eye of partridge heel, with parts taken from about 3 patterns to make up the design. I’m totally addicted to sock knitting!

Thanks everybody for the kind words of praise! I doubt I have a gift. Surfing the net for socks shows me pretty quick that I’m a rookie. It took many failed attempts and one huge meltdown before the light went on and I finally “got it”. Now it’s a snap! I learn something new with each pair and apply it to the next ones. I was forced to learn if I wanted warm feet at work. I searched and searched, but retailors don’t stock nice wool socks for women in Georgia. A new obsession was born from necessity!

They lovely looking socks. two weeks for a pair of socks. I will just hang my head in shame. have had the same sock on the needles for atleast a month now. Have half of one done now.
