New need help

i am trying to do this pattern and i dont understand how much to repeat
row 1 (right side): P2, * [slip1, K2, PSSO], P2; repeat from * across:182 sts.

now do i include the P2 right after the parenthesis

The P2 to the right of the brackets is part of your pattern repeat: [slip1, K2, PSSO], P2. You start the row with P2, then start your pattern repeats working across the rest of the stitches in the row. When you get to the end, your last 2 sts will both be Purls and you should end up with 182 sts.

Does that answer your question?

yeah that’s pretty much it, so only whats inside the parenthesis are repeated and when you get to the last to stitches on your needle, you do the p2!

no i think the repeat referes to what is in parenthesis and the P2. The instructions in parenthesis are a decrease instruction. you would therefor do [slip1, k2, psso] p2 repeatedly across the row.

Right. Inside the brackets is one procedure, so to speak, for the decrease. You do it and the p2 all the way across the row.
