Hello, need help with directions, I’m new.
the pattern reads K1P3tog,K1,P1,K1into next st, repeat from
across row, ending row with K1
What does it mean K1 into next st?
Thanks

Welcome to the KH Forum!
I think you’ve left out part of the instructions.
Are there parentheses around the K1,P1,K1?
If so, then it means that you will do all three of these things in the next stitch.
I think you’re going to do this - K1,P1,K1 - all into the next st. Knit the st but leave it on the L needle, bring yarn to front and purl, take yarn to back and knit it again. This makes a double inc to offset the p3tog double dec. It may be easier to k1, yo, k1 into the st and will look the same.
Hi, no there aren’t parentheses around the k1,p1,k1
I’m not very skilled with new patterns so many of the directions are
like Greek to me. Thanks for answering me. J. Ann
I think the parentheses have been omitted in error. It still makes sense to k1, p1, k1 all into the next stitch. That balances out the decrease when you p3tog. Here is a video of how to do that if you’d like.
