My name is Julie and I am a new knitter. I bought a book and followed the patterns. Most of the time I did OK. I do need help with a stitch I want to use for a scarf. The site calls it the elongated stitch. The yarn is wrapped 3 or 4 times on the needle before being pulled through. The problem is one side has this lovely straight long thread, but the other has an elongated chain looking thread. How do I get the rid of the chain?
Thanks for your help.
