while shopping for tailgate supplies (DS has big football game tonight) I found Fons & Porters Love of Knitting. It has some great projects. Has anyone else seen it?

No, I haven’t seen that particular magazine. I googled for it and it does look interesting. Where did you pick-it up, I didn’t see it listed at B&N or Borders.

I like the how-to’s…good pictures and explanations. There are some cute patterns in it too.
I found mine at my pitiful Joanne’s, which carries an atrocious supply of yarn but got a 
on the mags.

I saw this mentioned on another forum and was told the cost was $3.99 printed on the cover. This morning I was quite excited to find it in Chapters in Canada and the price printed for Canada is $7.99. I think that is too big a difference, usually about $1.00 on US magazines. Needless to say, I didn’t buy it.
I saw it at Wal-Mart and had to do a double take. Since when does Fons and Porter knit?
I received my new Knit Simple yesterday and saw the ad for Debbie Bliss. My dad has to have a lung biopsy in the am so I’ll be able to pick up a copy at BAM after his procedure.
Hope your dad’s biopsy turns out to be nothing serious!
Puddinpop, thanks for your concern. The procedure went ok, we want know anything for a couple of weeks. They know its not cancer; they just don’t know what is causing his lungs to be cloudy. My Pop is 70, still very active, so “taking it easy” is not his style.
