I am very into all the crafting stuff. I was doing just cross stitching and crocheting before. Right now Im learining how to quilt and Knit.
My boyfriends grandmother got me knitting needles and some yarn to learn on, and was showing me how on XMas. Unfortunately she got me these HUGE needles and a pattern that required two different threads, and I just couldnt handle those needles.
So… I went out to the local craft shop and bought some 4 ply 2.5 oz yarn and Ive been practicing. Basically I cast on then purl a row and knit a row and so on. I always get about three or four rows in and loose the last few stitches off the row:)… then start over…
Anyway…now that the intro is over… my biggest issue is with the last stich of the row… it never seems to transfer to the other needle properly. Are you supposed to do that last stitch differently? …
My name is Toni, and im a 25 year old computer programmer from new york (living in jersey)… which is probably why I found this place so quickly…
Love this place already…the video section taught me how to cast on and how to purl(gramma only taught me the knit stitch)
