See my notes about the new site thread. I just made it a sticky. We will also be unrolling some new features in the coming weeks such as KH blogs (probably a limited beta release, a la ravelry at first). We had to get the new design launched first and now that it is out of the way we can start working on some more fun stuff!

I think everything looks so much brighter and even my font looks more sharp (I could be wrong…my contacts get a bit mucky at times! :slight_smile: )

I’ll have to work on it, I guess. It works fine on my Mac, it’s my PC where I have trouble (I use Firefox on both). It’s seems to actually be worse when I clear my cache. I’m scared to reinstall. Will I lose all my bookmarks if I do that?

Oh and I did disable Adblock :thumbsup:

Let me jump in here briefly, Kristin. I doubt you will lose your bookmarks if you re-install Firefox. I’ve done it about a million times. HOWEVER, there is an ultra-cool extension called Foxmarks. You can download it and then sync all your bookmarks to this program. What it does is make your bookmarks accessible to you no matter whose computer you use. So if you are at a public computer, you type in the web address and then enter your username and password and voila! There are your bookmarks. So if you do re-install Firefox and you find everything has vanished. Just re-install your Foxmarks extension and download your bookmarks again. YOU NEVER LOSE ANYTHING!!! This is the awesomest thing ever because sometimes I go between my sweetie’s computer and mine and I need my bookmarks for school. So I can log into Foxmarks and use them whenever I need them.

Also, whenever you add or remove bookmarks and want to update your “master” set, you can do so with the “sync” function on Foxmarks.

Ok, I’ve geeked out enough tonight. Just wanted to make you aware of the options out there. I heart Firefox! :yay:

I was just going to mention this! Foxmarks is excellent. I spend my time on 3 different computers and it is soooooo nice to have bookmarks shared on all of them. I just got a new MacBook a couple weeks ago, installed Firefox and Foxmarks and voila all my bookmarks and xml feeds were right there waiting for me! It like magic!

Thanks so much - I love the new site. Yesterday I tried to logon at lunch from work and it said I could not get in… I thought my work had cut me off…

I LOVE the new site… Great job!!

Just one note about the videos… (not sure if this is where I should put this) While I LOVE the full-screen capability, the one thing that I didn’t like was when I freeze a video, which I do often to make sure my needles, yarn etc are in the right place, it put’s that play arrow right in the middle of the screen, blocking my view of the paused video. Any way around this??
