New here!

I already posted a question in the how to forum, but figured I’d better come over her and introduce myself. My name is Lyndsey, I’m a stay at home mom and doula in training. I’m happily married and have 3 kids, Andrew (6), Haylee (2), and Julianna (7 months). I taught myself to knit in September 2004 and have been at it ever since. This site has been SO much help, much of my knitting knowledge has come from watching the videos.

Right now I’m working on a Ravenclaw Harry Potter scarf and a diaper soaker for Julianna. I just finished a Clapotis and still have to get pictures up on my knitting blog which you can see here.

Hello! Welcome to Knitting help =D :cheering:

was the clapotis hard? its such a pretty pattern.

i started nursing to become a midwife, but got sidetracked by critical care. are you enjoying your doula training? im happy youre here, another healthcare field worker, yay!

:cheering: Welcome to the forum!!

Hello, Lindsey, welcome to the forum. I started knitting in 2004, too  I love your clapotis…wasn’t it just fun, fun, fun to knit

Hi, Lyndsey!! Welcome! I knit a clapotis not too long ago also. Great job!

The clapotis was really easy to knit, much easier than I expected.

And, so far I’m not very far in my doula training, but I’m excited to become one. After a few years as a doula, I’d also like to attend the International School of Midwifery to become a licensed midwife. Want to wait until my kids are all in school at least, before I start school again. Very exciting, though! :cheering:

Greetings! :waving:

Hi Lyndsey

Hi and welcome. The second doula
