So I have started making another baby dress- but I am a bit confused… it says join in the round, which would be under the arm, but wouldn’t I have to join again on the other side? It is front and back which need to be joined, so I am just a little mixed up on how to do it. (Usually joining in the round, I make an extra stitch and cast one off)
**Join in the round **
Note: The back is longer than the front
It is time to join in the round. You are at the start of the front stitches. Place your new start of round marker.

What is the name of your pattern and designer?
Is this knit bottom up or top down? Often when the back is longer than the front, the back is started for several rows then the front sts are joined in the round.
I figured it out- I had the stitches on a separate needle, but once I got them on the round one, I understood what to do!

The best! Nothing quite like figuring it out yourself. I hope we get a chance to see a photo of this baby dress.
