ok…i’m getting frustrated. So i cast on stitches. Knit my first stitch over and put a marker on and then i’m knitting around and slowly the length of wool in the middle gets longer and longer…(the piece inbetween the needles). Then i have to keep pulling to the right to tighten the stitches…and if i don’t i get these huge loops inbetween stitches…What is going on? what am i doing wrong?

Which cast on method did you use? If you used the single or “backward loop” method you will have that problem with it.
Sounds like you used the backward loop CO which isn’t a good one to start a project with. Use the Knit or cable cast on, or try the long tail. These all have videos on the Cast ons page.
ahhh thanks it was definately because of my cast-on method…
