Never thought I would say this

It feels better to be able to say that I am 10 days free of cigarettes, 7 days free of nicotine {stopped the Commit too} than to have a cigarette!!
I always thought that cigarette was the best. Not anymore. And I have truely felt a little more energy. Usually on Sunday, I do NOTHING. Today, I cleaned, washed clothes, cleaned out my car, boy, there was a lot ashes in the back seat:ick: and it smelled like an ashtray. Vaccumed and went through it with Mr. Clean wipes and it smells so much better, for now anyway. I know it will take a while for it to go away completely.
Thanks to everyone here for the support!! Mary, I hope you are still doing good too. Hang in there with me. We can do this!!!

You’re doing really well! :yay:

sounds like you’re enjoying your freedom! WTG!!! remember we’re here if you hit a rough patch. :grphug:

Well done you. You’ll feel so much better for it. My mum stopped last year. She tried nearly everything. The doctor put her on Champix. It was a 6 week course but they worked so good that she kept forgetting to take them on the last 2 weeks. She’s been smoke free for 6-7 months now. She even notices if my sister has had a cig as she can smell it. I don’t smoke myself so its nice to go home after visiting my mum and not stink of cig smoke.

way to go on giving up.
I gave up 4 1/2 yrs ago and it was the best thing i ever did.

Congratulations on the not smoking. It made me think
It has been nine months now for me, oh my gosh you can do it if I could. Keep going and it will be a wonderful thing to think I don’t smoke anymore. I don’t even think about it anymore. You will get there and say the same thing. WOW I don’t smoke anymore.:woot:
