Never leave home without my knitting

Well, my goodness! Has it been since August 2011 since I last posted on here? Where does the time go? Oh, that’s right, time flies by fast when your working on your Masters Degree. I will be finished with my Masters of Education with a double concentration in Special Education and Reading Specialist on this Friday, February 22, 2013. A lot of people are asking me what I plan on doing with myself once I finish school. Well, the best answer I can give them is that I am going to rest! Lots of rest! Then I am going to pick up my knitting needles and begin knitting again. Don’t get me wrong, I have knit a few things here and there but not like I used to before I began this adventure. So, time to dust off the circs and pull my yarn our of storage so that I can make some beautiful things. Look for more updates to come soon…:knitting: :muah:

Thanks so much Jan. It is so good to be back although I’m not sure how many people are still using this thread…

Currenly on my needles is a Color Affection Shawl that I am doing in jewel tones. This is such a simple pattern but for some reason it is takin me a long time to complete. Other than that Ihave done some really cute wash clothes that have a quilt block look to them.

Happy Thursday to all.

My Color Affection Shawl was 95%completed when the two puppies tag teamed and destroyed all of my hard work. UGH!!! There was no way to save the project so I had to go buy new yarn and needles. Hopefully this week I will be able to start the project over again.

That’s a lot of knitting to have puppies destroy. I hope they weren’t hurt in the process, needles can be dangerous. You didn’t say they were injured so I guess they’re OK. I’m glad you have time to knit again. Life’s just better with knitting.
