Negative ease?

I’m at work in front of the computer browsing KPC for all the cute little camis and tanks that I would love to knit for summer. Heck, I’m just dreaming about summer - we got another 3 inches of snow today!

I’ve seen the term negative ease in these patterns a lot, what does that mean?

Negative ease means that the finished measurements of the garment will be smaller than your actual measurements. Garments with negative ease are meant to be form fitting.
