Needle Felting

I was watching knitty gritty the other day and the show was about needle felting. I was wandering if you could use any type of yarn or just wool.

It has to stick to it’self so I think animal finbers are the only one’s that will work.

Yep, It’s gotta be an animal fiber, the basic process is that the needles have barbs on the end which catch the fibers and push them down, as more and more fibers are caught they in a way stick together which causes the fibers to hold together and based on how you place the fibers can be shaped into almost anything, right now it’s one of my favorite methods to use.
