Need substitute for Berroco Smart Cotton
i can’t really tell for sure from the picture of the yarn but wouldn’t something like Sugar n Cream work as a sub? maybe i am completely off in what i am seeing in the pic but if it would that would make for a super cheap tank!
Well, it says it’s stretchy, so maybe Cascade Fixation? It has a similar gauge. Might be too stretchy though, I don’t know.
If you don’t care about the stretchy-ness so much, then maybe LionBrand Cotton Ease or TLC Cotton Plus. Just try to find something with a similar gauge. That’s a pretty top too! 
Well, I thought the same with the Sugar N Cream. I had bought a cone with the intention of using it for a tank top. I tried it for this tank top, and I thought the gauge was about right, but it was coming out WAY too big. Since the pattern is pretty specific, I didn’t dare to tweak it. I was thinking maybe it was because it was all cotton and I need something that would be stretchier? But I really don’t know. Thanks for the help! I’ll look into the Fixation and the TLC Cotton Plus.
