Need simple beanie pattern

I need to make a simple beanie for my brother (age 23)…no rolled or folded brim. I prefer to knit in the round and will be using WOTA.

Any ideas?

There is a couple beanie patterns here.

Half-dome is a nice one…you could sub a half inch or so of ribbing for the rolled edge :smiley:

Marnie has some very nice hat patterns, Pismo and Carlsbad are pretty simple styles.

I made a Nautilus (the lacy version) and gave it to my cousin just before she left for the Peace Corps, and I just got a picture of her wearing it in Morocco!

I vote for the half dome that Julie suggested, I like Marnie’s His Hat, too, but I really like half dome for your brother’s age!
