Need Rules 1 and 2!

ANYONE with Amy Singer’s book [I]No Sheep For You[/I]? I had checked the book out from the library and made myself a copy of the Tuscany shawl. Started knitting it but then it got set aside for awhile. I went to work on it again yesterday only to find that I’d lost the page that has rules 1 and 2 on it. I have everything else still but not that page. Probably something like page 50 in the book.

I tried going back to the library to see what they were but the book is checked out and the bookstore didn’t have any copies. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME??? I know that one of the rules had to do with doing either a purl or a knit st before or after markers… It has just been too long.

If you can please email me with those rules, I think I’ve still got the rest of the info/chart/pattern so I can get back to working on this shawl.

Rule 1: Always make a yarnover 2 stitches in from the edge on every row (2 sts increased on every row).

Rule 2: On RS rows, the first stitch after a marker is always purled; on WS rows the first stitch before a marker is always knitted.
