It’s a traveling stitch (or crocheted on chain), which crosses/cables into a diamond over a background of ?.
The background looks crocheted, but it could be some sort of slipped stitch/PSSO pattern.
It looks like a crocheted cable hat using trc for the cabling. The stitches in between look like sc or hdc.
