Need opinions please re:Christmas gift

Hi all! I am planning on making these cinnamon rolls with a cream cheese frosting for my neighbors this year for Christmas. I usually give them some sort of baked good.
My question is should I give them baked and ready to eat or let them bake them themselves. I am really torn on it. The cinnamon rolls are so good when they are hot out of the oven. I made them over this past weekend when my family was here and everyone loved the smell of them baking.
On the other hand I am not sure how some people will feel about a gift they have to cook themselves. I also worry someone could over or under cook them and not enjoy them.

What do you all think? What would you like? Thanks in advance. If anyone tries the recipe and becomes addicted like we are I am sorry but welcome to the dark side!

If it were me, I’d give them the instructions so they could bake the rolls themselves. There’s nothing better that hot cinnamon rolls fresh out of the oven!

I have to agree. If someone brought me cinnamon rolls to bake, I’d run to the oven! I’d be very thankful, as well. If you like, I can send you my address… . . :teehee:

I am sitting here in front of my computer drooling over those yummy cinnamon rolls! My mom made the world’s best orange rolls and cinnamon rolls. There’s nothing like that glorious aroma coming from the kitchen when they’re baking! I’d let the recipients bake them in their own ovens. At first I was concerned about you getting your pan(s) back, but I see that problem is easily solved with the disposable ones. Either way you decide to give them; baked or unbaked I’m sure they’ll be gobbled up quickly. Jeanie in TX

Thanks everyone! I’ll be making them on Wednesday. If anyone wants to come by and get a pan feel free : ) I would mail them but can only imagine the mess they would be by the end of the journey.:teehee:
