Need help!

Hi everyone, Im new here… just start learning how to knit…
and I found this forum, so I decided to ask u girls bout how to start to knit…

and I think the heart is really cute, so I decided to give it a try,
I learn how to cast on stitches, but I do not know what I should do other den casting on the stitches…

CO 2 st
[B]row 1: kfb, k to last st, kfb[/B]

Kfb is knit 1 stitch in the front, then in the back. This is also called a Bar Increase

I got this from the glossary from the KnittingHelp.com…
and I watched the video, but i dun geddit… cuz, thrs is 2 needles thr already, as I started using 1 needle… :??

I hope there’s someone out there to teach me! thanks alot…

do you know how to do the knit stitch? You cast on 2 stitches, then you need to do the increases, in this case, knit into the front and the back of the stitchs on the left needle. You use your right needle to do this. Those are the only 2 needles…Then you purl the next row-do you know the purl stitch? Then for the next row you KFB of the first stitch, knit the middle 2 stitches and KFB of the last stitch…

You have to know how to knit and purl and do the increases.
