Need help with the last line of this patterns instructions

The last line in the attached image says to repeat rounds 1 and 8 once. Which, in my brain, tells me to knit. I’m probably over thinking this but if I’m correct why doesn’t it just say to knit!

That’s the way I read it too. Both round 1 and round 8 are knit rounds and it clearly states rounds 1 and 8 not rounds 1-8.

Can you tell from the photo of the finished piece? Can you give us the name of the pattern or a link?

Thanks! The pattern came from a book that I bought. I would have posted the whole pattern but after reading the forum rules I wasn’t sure if it was alright since it’s in a magazine that I purchased. The pattern is called Girls Lace Layette.
