Need Help with Pattern

I am trying to knit a afghan, it is done in five strips with 5 blocks in each strip. One of the blocks is done in a feather stitch. The first 2 rows are knit and pearl the third row says
K2 (edge sts) *p1, p2tog, yo, k1, yo, p2tog p1 repeat from * across to last 2 sts, end k2 (edge sts)
I am having trouble getting the yo k1 yo.

I got the pattern on the Caron website, the patter is called Soften your morning.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To YO from a P to a K, just lay the yarn loosely over the top of the needle and knit the stitch. The YO from the k to purl, bring the yarn to the front, all the way around the needle and to the front to p2tog.
