Need help with knit stitch please

I’m just starting out with knitting and I just can’t figure out the knit stitch. I’ve been working on it for two days, I’ve watched videos and read diagrams. Does anyone have any advice or something that could possibly help?

I know you’re left handed so I’m not sure if you are knitting that way or if you’re trying to continental or english. I know you’ve looked the video here in KH, but here is another place to check. It’s actual photos of what is going on.

If you’re still having trouble maybe you could go to your LYS (local yarn store) to have someone show you in person. That makes it easier for some people.

Good, then you just need to do it some more and it’ll get easier. Many right handers have the same problems you do when first starting, it’s just getting used to using your hands in a different way, while at the same time your brain is learning something new too.
