And as I understand it, I’m suppose to be knitting a tube? Because doesn’t a Straight Stockinette Stitch form a Purl side on the wrong side? And I wanted the scarf to result stockinette stitch on both side when I wear it.
It looks to me like you are knitting in the round, so all the purls will be inside the tube and when you cast off and flatten out the tube there will be stockinette on both sides.
I knitting this on my sweater machine, and the seamed it up the back. There was no way I was hand knitting it, because I am lazy, and we needed them for the GOF premiere and I started them like 3 days before hand. Not a planner.
I’m knitting a Harry Potter scarf in burgundy and yellow-gold. I’m not knitting it on circular needles, just two straight ones. I like what I’ve done so far…
Hi thanks, I did have a look at Amy’s videos, but how do you join the round so that it is stockinette stitch on both sides?
Does anyone know website or have photos of the beginning process then the end process?
If I use 4 dpns or a circular needle and simply knit all th way around and around will that be joining the round?
