Need help with glove pattern!

I need help joining the thumb on the glove. The directions on the pattern say "work one more round, dividing stitches between 2 needles so they are arranged as they were for joining round; work ssk over last 2 stitches. Put 21 stitches on first needle, 20 stitches on 2nd needle. Place thumb stitches on 2 needles, placing 8 stitches on each needle. Continuing with 2nd needle of last round (after ssk). Place stitch marker, knit first 2 stitches of thumb together, knit next 6 stitches of thumb, using another needle, knit next 6 stitches of thumb, ssk, place stitch marker, knit 1st 2 stitches of next hand round together, knit to end of needle. 54 stitches. Knit 27 stitches from next needle onto 2 needles, dividing stitches evenly. Place safety pin to mark beginning of round (center of thumb).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You’re going to have the front and back of the hand on 2 needles and 16 thumb sts on two needles. The front and back of hand will be 20sts each (this is after you’ve set the markers) and the thumb sts will decrease to 7sts on each of the 2 thumb needles. That’s your 54sts total.
The next part seems to join half of the thumb sts onto the same needle as half of the hand sts. I’d like to see the whole pattern if you can give us a pattern link or a pattern name. (Please don’t copy the pattern as that causes copyright problems.)
