Need help with a knitting Pattern

Hey everyone, I just bought a new pattern from Patons Anti Freeze booklet and I am having trouble with the scarf from the Giant stitch hat and scarf pattern. The pattern states:
" P2. *drop next st off of left needle and allow st to unravel four rows down. knit into center of st 5th st down and also under 4 loose strands, drawing up the st and catching the strands behind it. P2."
I understand about the purl 2 and drop of a stitch and unravel it four rows down. After that Im not quite certain what i should be doing.
If anyone can help that would be super!

After the st has dropped 4 rows, put your R needle into the st on the row below that, knit it and draw the loop up. The loose strands will be ‘trapped’ in that knit st.
