No, I’m not an English teacher, but I used to teach English to adult international students about two years ago. I really enjoyed it! ![]()
:cheering::yay:Hurray for you!! I’m so glad it worked out, and before you had a time crunch too! Congrats!!
BTW - what will you be teaching? And what part of NJ?
Thanks! ![]()
Yeah, it all happened so fast. They called me last week to come in yesterday to interview with the principal (my third interview). There was one other person there waiting, but my interview was first. I was nervous, but I did well. The principal told me that she would call me tomorrow (today) if I got the position. Well about 2 hours later after the interview, I got a phone call from the principal saying, “we decided today, we would like to offer you the position”. I was floored :thud:, but relieved! ![]()
So finally, I’ll be teaching Kindergarten in Hudson County (Jersey City). I hope to one day be a Reading Specialist Teacher after I finish my Master’s degree.
ooo - you’re gonna have your hands full! But I bet they’ll be just adorable - and you’ll do great, since you’ve experience working with pre-schoolers! Have fun with it, and good luck!
