Need help understanding pattern direct

I’m hoping someone could please help me with understanding this pattern. The pattern is a bath mitt made with lily sugar’n’cream yarn
The part I need help with is as follows :Next row: K29. Turn. Cast on 1 st. K14 (including st on needle after cast on). Turn. Cont on these 14 sts for thumb.
Knit 10 rows even.

Does this mean I knit 14 sts, turn, knit another 14 sts., turn and repeat these steps a total of ten times. Also when you are working turning rows, aren’t you suppose to do some kind of wrap before you turn? I doesn’t say to do that but I maybe its a standard thing to do and they figure you already know to do that. But I’m not a real experienced knitter and I’m not sure If you have to do that or not (wrap & turn on each of the 10 rows) Would really appreciate some advice on this pattern.

After you knit 29 sts, turn to start the next row and add a st. Knit 14 sts and turn again, knitting only on these sts for 10 rows. You won’t need to wrap the sts, you’re making the thumb and I think it would be seamed up, then the base of it joined to the hand of the mitt. They would mention wrapping if you needed to do it, but that’s when you’re shaping something, and here you’re only working on the thumb sts by themselves.

Thanks so much for helping me with understanding what to do in this pattern. I really appreciate it.
