NEED HELP PLEASE with Circular Shrug

[FONT=“Arial”][SIZE=“3”][COLOR=“Green”][B]Hello all!

I just began the Circular Shrug that so many have knitted over on Ravelry. Here’s the link for the shrug…

I’m a tad confused and need your help please. I’m knitting the shrug on #6 circular needles (first time using circulars) and the entire piece is connected.

Upon seeing several photos of various shrugs before completion on Ravelry, it doesn’t appear that I’m doing this properly. Plus, people have discussed sewing up the seams. If it’s done in the round there wouldn’t be any seams, right?

Am I doing it correctly or should the rows have “ends” rather than a continuous circle? If there should be actual row ends then do I need to use circulars or can I just use straight needles.

I really love this shrug and would like to make it properly.

Thanks in advance for any and Happy St. Paddy’s Day to all!

Hugs,

It’s knit on circulars because of the number of stitches it holds. If you look at the photos further down the page, it shows progress shots and how it’s seamed together.

Thanks so much Ingrid…I’ve got it now.
