Need help for shaping shoulders and back neck of jumper

Hello. I am a super beginner and I hope I get some help…
I am knitting men’s jumper and confused by the following section. Can anyone help to make me understand this please. This looks like stairs on shoulder. Would it be possible to make this sloped pattern?

Shape shoulders and back neck
Cast (bind) off 6 sts at beg of next 2 rows.
61 sts.
next row (rs) cast (bind) off 6 sts, K until there are 10 sts on right needle and turn, leaving rem sts on a holder.
Work on this set of sts only for first side of neck.
Cast (bind) off 3 sts at beg of next row.
Cast (bind) off rem 7 sts.
Return to sts on holder and slip centre 29 sts onto another holder (for Neckband), rejoin yarn and K to end. Cast (bind) off 6 sts at beg of next row, then 3 sts at beg of foll row.
Cast (bind) off rem 7 sts.

Thank you in advance for your help!!

Welcome!
Yes, the sloped bind off will work here.

When you turn, leaving sts unworked on the left needle, you’ll be finishing one shoulder before getting to the center sts and the second shoulder.

Thank you so much!!
I am kind of getting this technique, just need to try. Still a bit confused of the pattern reading so I might come back to ask you again.
