Need help fixing mistake I make over and over

I often make this same mistake and take out back to the mistake to fix it. I wonder if I can fix it when it is discovered on the subsequent row. I make it when knitting (not purling).

When I get to the mistake, I see that I have passed the stitch from the left needle to the right without working it, but there is also a yarnover in the same place. Can I just take the yarnover and pull it through the non-worked stitch instead if taking out to that point?

Many thanks.

Yes, you can. Apparently what happens is that you insert the needle to make the st but don’t pull the wrap (yarnover) through it.
