Hi I just bought 11 skeins of Phildar Phil Eponge yarn, lavender color. I am a beginner knitter and was hoping to knit either a baby blanket or blanket. Or baby booties or other baby clothes as I just love them. But I am open to any suggestions as I am having difficulty finding any patterns for this yarn. Any help would be great!
Need a pattern for Phildar Phil Eponge yarn! help!

It’s a DK weight yarn, so you can use it for any pattern that calls for a gauge of about 22-24 stitches per 4 inches.
Check out www.knittingpatterncentral.com for lots of free patterns.
Thank you for the advice, I was wondering if you knew whether or not these patterns would work? They all look really easy for baby booties, since I haven’t ever knitted any. If you have any suggestions which I should do that would be awesome!

These two don’t require dpns, but you have to seam up the bottom. Not a big deal since babies don’t worry about walking on a seam.
If you want to attempt dpns, a bootie is a great way to learn since they’re so small. Any but the top one (on your list) would be good to try. The first one on your list requires a toe-up sock cast-on, so that might be a bit harder.
Do you have a suggestion which of the above which would be the easiest to make? As I will be learning as I go.
I’d suggest picking the one you like best, and then reading the pattern. Work it one row at a time, and if you get to a spot where you don’t know what to do, just ask!
