Need a little help with making a ridge

Hi, i’m making a wine cozy and I’ve got to the bottom of the cozy and don’t know how to do this:

Form Ridge
Next Row [WS]: [With left needle, pick up purl bump of next st, 6 rows down, p this st tog with next st on needle] to end of row. This will form a ridge on the right side of the work

do i start with a P then pick up the stich six rows down? or do I start by picking up the stich then p2tog? from the edge side, which stich do i pick up? any help would be great. thanks!!

Lift the purl bump from 6 rows down and put it on your left needle, then purl it and the next stitch together. It will create a pleat, kind of.
