Neck on the wrong way round

My neck for “destiny the dragon” is now stuffed and sew. i have now found the neck to be on the opposite side to where it should be. Don’t want to really have to undo the mattress stitch to take the neck out…will i be able to get away with the neck being on the wrong way round in terms of being in exactly opposite direction because i am hopping i can. Please look at picture. Thanks

That’s really your decision. Either you want this stuffed animal to look like the photo or you can live with something a bit different.
Is there any shaping to make the striped front bulge or round up?

To salmonmac,

In awnser to your question for the body row 1 was a purl row and row two was an entire kfb row. So kfbs count as shaping for row 2 i will assume. The final rows in the body were st st then i casted off the body. You wanted to know this information since the neck was on the wrong way. (I am never good at undoing things without messing it all up)

Really I was wondering if there was any shaping (i.e. short rows) in the front. If not, then it’s up to you. Taking out sewing takes a bit of patience but it gets easier. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
