Nearly half-finished WIP - Lizard Ridge

Hey guys, I’m in LOVE with this pattern. And it’s not going to be finished for quite a while (can’t afford all the yarn!!!) but I wanted to share it with all of you anyway. It’s Lizard Ridge from Knitty, made with Noro Kureyon. Details on the Ravelry

Not everyone is on Ravelry. Here’s a link for those who don’t.

It’s beautiful!

You’re doing it in strips; way to go! Much less sewing and it looks just as good as all those blocks.

Yeah I normally post some of the details of my FOs on here for those who don’t have Ravelry, but since this isn’t even half-done, I just gave a little info. I thought including the pattern name and source would be enough if people wanted to find it, right?

WOW that is beautiful!!! I love it!!

its georgous. i’d never be able to take on anything so large, i’d loose interest.

it is stunning though

i love the colours

Sure they can, but if you can it’s nice to include a link.

I love that pattern too! No money for Noro right now though. :teehee: Your’s looks beautiful so far. can’t wait to see the progress and the eventual FO

It looks great. Keep going. It’s going to be amazing.

Looks gorgeous so far…you are amazing! :muah:

That’s gorgeous Rachel! It makes me want to start an afghan…must resist!

Ahh, many a determined, resistant knitter has fallen captive to the mighty Lizard Ridge!!! Good luck!

Very nice! It is on “my list”!!

:yay: very pretty!!

It’s looking beautiful!

That is SOOOOOOOO gorgeous!

Gosh o mighty! This must be so much fun! I love looking at your progress! Wish I was working on something colorful like this!
Way to go! Can hardly wait for the FO to be posted!

Oh goodness! That is beautiful!!! You have a great eye for color, my dear!

It is very beautiful. I wonder if there is other cheaper yarn that would produce similar result?

Perhaps you could try Boku, but I don’t really think any other cheaper yarn would get such good results as Noro Kureyon. Nobody WANTS to pay that much for a blanket, lol but I guess you gotta do it if you want it to look so awesome.
That’s why it’s such a long-term project for me. I buy them as I can. This is actually a perfect project for long-term projects on a budget - because you don’t have to worry about matching colorways or dye lots. You really can buy as you can afford it
