Hi, last night I put the piece I’m working on on the couch and this morning found it lying on the floor - my Jack Russel must’ve pulled down with him, he loves lying on the couch!
Anyways, now there is 2 “extra” stitches before my 1st stitch. I definitely did not accidentally add extra stitches because it was perfect before I went to bed.
So, how do I fix this? Thank you

Oh those Jack Russells!
Those may not be extra sts but counting your sts will tell you whether they are or not.
You can slip the two sts to the right of the working yarn onto the other needle tip, turn the needles around and knit the two onto the right hand needle.

Lol yes!

Thank you so much, that worked perfectly! Going to write down this tip in my knitting notebook for future reference, it’s just brilliant
